Wow! It’s 2021! This year, I am focusing on taking “BOLD” steps in the direction of my dreams. 

Today is January 16th! and THIS YEAR! I have been filled with energy and motivation to take action. In Just TWO WEEKS! I found a creative, cohesive, and meaningful voice for my brand. Which I have been searching for to no avail for months!

Including finding a logo, landing on brand colors, and letting myself listen and follow the energy leading me to an authentic representation of who I am and what I want to provide for my clients….All of which has snowballed into a brand new website, and my very FIRST blog post ever! Ugh! I am excited!! 

I have to tell you so much comes with focusing on what your dreams are, and what you really want out of life. Mindset is everything! Before this month, I didn’t fully know what I was aiming for.  I am sure my dreams will evolve as life does, but I now have a vision to hold myself up to and that my friend is powerful. When I let myself start to dream, and move in the direction to align myself with those dreams. All the things I told you above began to manifest and fall into place. A dear friend posted about her new business, I felt compelled to reach out and together we were able to nail down a perfect logo for my brand. Then my husband, Adam,  asked the most important question, “Why?” Why had I chosen this logo in particular, and at the time I didn’t have a great answer, it was simply because I liked the modern feel of the geometric shape. I laugh now thinking about it but it’s true. I wanted to support my friends new business. I wanted a modern logo to fit with my “green” color scheme which hadn’t fully come together yet,  and this one stood out. As I began to sit with the why of it all, images, thoughts, memories of the last few months came to my mind and a brand unfolded before my eyes. From the new logo, to brand colors, and the meaning and purpose behind my passion for photography and working with the people who inspire me. It came together, and it came on strong. Reinforcing my need to act on our word of the year, “Bold”   

I have had a “blog” as part of my website since I made my first design in August of 2020. This is 2 website designs and 6 months later….and I am finally finding the courage to write and say hello! 

It isn’t that I haven’t wanted to write before, but I was never sure of what to write, say, or show to the community in this space. What do I have to say that 1000 other people haven’t already said? Well, I now know the truth in the matter, that even if it has already been said. It hasn’t been said by me. In my voice, attached to my feelings and my dreams! I now respect that my voice, my story and my dreams matter. So do yours!

So here I am, taking bold steps and writing my first blog post. Heart full of energy and pride, with a smile stretched across my face. To tell you that I am growing, shifting my mindset, and becoming the person who lives their dream. Let’s boldly take on 2021! Together we can support each other as we take action to align ourselves with our dreams!
